"Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast in
the Lake of
Fire. The
Smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever, and they have no rest
day or night." Jesus will say: "Depart from Me, ye
cursed, in to everlasting fire
prepared for the Devil and his angels."
And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment, pain, torment, shame, and
contempt. They shall be "punished
from the presence of the Lord" and the glory of His power with
everlasting
fire; where the worm dieth not and
the fire is not
quenched. In Hell the rich
man (Luke 16) lifted up his eyes in torment and cried, "send
Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue,
for I am tormented in this
flame!" All the nations that
forget God shall be turned into Hell; wherefore hell hath enlarged herself.
Jesus commands: "Bind him hand and foot and cast him into outer darkness!"
There shall be weeping , and wailing, and gnashing of teeth. If
God lives forever, how long will it take to pay for a sin committed against
HIM?
